LYIS is back!

What a whirlwind the past few months have been! My husband got a job, we packed up our house and kids and moved back to Florida from Virginia in August. While searching for the perfect house, we've been living with my inlaws and it's been a bit chaotic, to say the least. We are finally looking forward to closing on our own place in a week, and getting ready to move again. (YAY)

Needless to say, my sewing has taken a bit of a back seat, and LYIS has been on hiatus. I am SO ready to get my creative juices flowing again, and very excited about the future of LYIS. My sister-in-law (Cathy) and I are going to partner up and take a different direction. We're going to be doing in-home trunk shows - so, we're busy designing our mobile boutique and sewing up lots of samples (and setting up a gorgeous new sewing room - yay!). Next week we're taking our 3 and 1.5 year old daughters out for a photo shoot of the new line of clothing - and maybe being overly optimistic that we'll be able to get a single good shot out of them. We'll see - I'll be sure to post some outtakes here.

Our "grand-reopening" trunk show will be at the end of February, and we will also be offering the line for sale on our Facebook page for a one week window of time. The exact dates will be posted soon, as well as picture previews of our new line. Scrumptious fabrics, coordinating accessories, and perfect personalized gifts await - so be sure to stay tuned!
